Bio Logica

A formula consisting solely of active ingredients – Bio Logica Hyaluserum

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is Hyaluserum a new concept?

Hyaluserum contains an incompatible 23% of active ingredients in a formula of natural purified ingredients. In laboratory testing this concentration has delivered an 87% increase in skin hydration – possibly the highest score ever achieved by any skincare product.

What makes it different from other serums?

Unlike some other serum formulations, Hyaluserum contains no parabens or phenoxyethanolor formaldehyde. Other skincare ingredients can commonly include ingredients derived from fats or petrochemicals, polymer resins, synthetic surfactant agents or acidifying or alkalising agents, with active components rarely exceeding 8%.

How does Bio Logica Hyaluserum work?

Hyaluserum is based on three active ingredients which act synergistically to improve skin quality.

Hyaluronan is a natural component of the dermis that maintains skin hydration and preserves firmness, tonicity and elasticity by stimulating collagen generation.

Sodium lactate stimulates cell multiplication and renewal, and increases the flexibility of the outer layer of the skin.

Glycerol protects against free-radical degradation, improves elasticity and maintains the hydrolipidic film to protect the natural skin barrier.

Is Hyaluserum safe for my skin?

The natural components have been selected for their proven roles in skin functionality and compatibility with normal metabolic processes. They are derived purely from biochemical engineering and plant sources. Hyaluserum contains only 0.5% essential conservation content, which has been validated for safety.

What can Hyaluserum be used for?

Hyaluserum has a wide range of applications including:

  • Use after age 35  to replenish dermal hyaluronan when the level begins to decline
  • To rehydrated skin
  • To improve skin firmness
  • As a treatment for wrinkles and fine lines
  • To soothe reactive and very sensitive skins
  • To assist with healing acne
  • In preparation for cosmetic treatments including laser, peeling and IPL
